Summary of key findings for parents
This provision is outstanding • Leadership and management of the provision is exceptional. Staff demonstrate a very secure knowledge of the requirements of the early years foundation stage and implement them highly effectively. Leaders and staff pursue excellence in everything they do to inspire and benefit children. Incisive evaluation of the quality of the provision has led to a strong capacity for sustainable improvement. • The leadership and staff team are well qualified and highly experienced. Very effective arrangements are in place for staff supervision, training and continual professional development. This has an extremely positive impact on the quality of care and children’s well-being, safety and enjoyment. • Children are very happy, confident and self-assured and their behaviour is exemplary. Staff are superb role models and they very successfully set high standards for children’s behaviour. Children demonstrate a positive attitude towards others; they play cooperatively and share toys and resources. • Partnerships with parents and carers are excellent. An extensive range of information is shared with parents from the outset. They are kept well informed about activities children take part in. Parents’ views about the club are highly positive. Some say it is fantastic; a great service and network of staff. They say children come first and are safe and secure in the club. • The highly stimulating environment and wide range of activities ensure that children are motivated and very eager to join in and have fun. Children thoroughly enjoy their time at the club. They show high levels of confidence and develop a positive sense of themselves. Staff support children very effectively, helping them to understand how to keep safe and manage risks and challenges. • The promotion of equality, diversity and British values is at the heart of the club’s work. Staff provide children with a wide range of experiences that promote their understanding of people, families and communities beyond their own immediate experiences. Children learn about the wider world and the importance of respect and tolerance of others.
