Summary of key findings for parents

This provision is outstanding Teaching is often inspirational.

Staff are very well qualified and use their excellent understanding of how children learn. They use their knowledge of children's abilities, interests and learning styles to plan high-quality learning opportunities. Children are well prepared for their eventual move to school.

For example, pre-school children can wear a 'school uniform', take a book home daily and learn letter sounds using the same scheme that will be used at their new school. Partnerships with parents are outstanding. Parents are highly positive about the nursery and staff share detailed information with them about their children's learning ...and how they can support this at home.

This contributes greatly to children's success at nursery and the rapid progress they make. The exceptional management team leads their staff extremely well to deliver the highest standards of practice. All children make the best possible progress.

Excellent self-evaluation means that the management team and staff are continually extending the service they provide for families and children. All children, including babies, are extremely settled and secure, and form excellent relationships with their key person. Babies are confident to explore and investigate, knowing their special person is nearby for reassurance if needed.
