Summary of key findings for parents

This provision is outstanding Leaders and managers are passionate about offering the highest-quality care for each child. All aspects of the provision are extremely well organised to help children have exciting and enjoyable experiences in a safe environment. There is particularly close collaboration with the host school and the adjacent pre-school. Staff work across all settings, giving children great continuity and helping to build firm emotional links. Children of all ages play together exceptionally well. They show affection, respect and kindness for one another. Older children help younger ones and join in their games. Staff support children in their play to enhance their enjoyment very effectively. They listen carefully to the children and know them exceedingly well. Deployment is particularly good, with staff always on hand to join in games and provide children with any help they need. Children enjoy a very varied programme of activities. They are particularly adept at producing high-quality craftwork. They show concentration and perseverance as they create complex patterns with beads or make hairbands with flowers. Parents are very complimentary about the club. They say the atmosphere is exceptionally warm and friendly. Their children thoroughly enjoy their time there and are often reluctant to leave.
